Reasonable Eating
Thirteen reasonable algorithms for how, when, why and what you eat — one focus a week, four laps a year.
Add to Home Screen: tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen.”
Thirteen reasonable algorithms — one always-on focus at the centre (Eat more) and twelve that you take one at a time, a week each, cycling the four domains. 12 weeks to a lap, four laps to the year. No willpower marathon; just this week's one thing, done reasonably, until it's simply how you eat. Tap any slice above to meet its algorithm; press Play to watch the focus walk the weeks.
When you eat
Week 6 Stop when no longer hungry
Aim for “not hungry,” not “full.” Lay the fork down a few bites early and your body catches up grateful, never stuffed.
Hunger is met. Stop here — this is the reasonable place to stop.
No longer hungry, well before full. Your body’s need has gone quiet; everything past this is appetite, not hunger. This is the whole algorithm.
What you eat
Week 4 Did it grow into its shape?
An apple looks like an apple; a crisp looks like a factory. The closer a food is to how it grew, the better it tends to be.
Eat nearer the top — did it grow into its shape?

The tray — drag a food onto its rung
Pick up a card and drop it on the rung where it belongs.
Week 8 Eat a high NERD
NERD = Nutrition-to-Energy Ratio. Broccoli scores ten, a doughnut scores one. Chase the high-NERD foods and the rest takes care of itself.
NERD · nutrition ÷ energy
A perfect 10
Broccoli — heaps of nourishment for almost no energy. This is the corner you want to live in.
